Community Information

Goodnight One Pty Ltd will work with the community and provide genuine opportunities for community and stakeholder input from project inception.  We commit to best practice community consultation (communication and engagement) being Genuine, Timely, Relevant, Transparent and Inclusive.

Goodnight One Solar and Battery Storage Farm will work with the community and Bundaberg Regional Council to decide the best community benefits for the Good Night Community.  Community benefits may look like those listed below, however together we will create what is best for the local area.

Goodnight One Solar and Battery Storage Farm will deliver the following community benefits:

Community Benefit Fund – this fund will support initiatives driven by the community’s need to provide a positive legacy across the region.  The funding will be determined by a Community Reference Group to be established prior to construction commencement.
Community Energy Offset – this payment is an innovative way for Goodnight One to share the benefits of this renewable energy project with the wider community.  An annual payment will be made to households within 1500 metres of the subject land.
Community Education and First Nations Scholarship Fund– the fund will provide an agreed number and value higher education and vocational and educational training scholarships.
Legacy Infrastructure Fund – this fund is an annual grant designed to contribute to long term development of the region, leaving a long term legacy.
First Nations Initiatives – this fund will support initiatives driven by First Nations peoples needs to provide a positive legacy across the region and will be determined by a First Nations Reference Group to be established prior to construction commencement.
